Another crop of the 646 607 5550 posters cropped up today along Avenue A. They were stuck up with DUCT TAPE so you know whoever put them up means business!
Now I’m starting to wonder if whoever is putting up these signs is part of some religious group. See, in the last month or so, since I first called the number, I’ve been receiving automated phone calls from some preacher guy telling me he has a message for me from ” god” and I have to go to his church to get it. Hmmm. Coincidence? Hard to say. Because, see I dialed *67 before I dialed this number to block the caller ID. So in theory that should make me immune to ending up on some sort of calling list, but I suppose it’s always possible that they have some sort of caller ID blocker basher technology. Maybe “god” gave it to them.

you should call from a PAYPHONE next time! although they’re rarer and rarer in your land, as i understand . . . the other day i read that there was only ONE left in the entire washington, dc AREA (although they did say “phone booth,” so maybe that means just the actual booths)
